Acres of grassy
meadows stretch across the southern portion of the ranch Ponds and sub-irrigated
field allow support for cattle and horses
Off Highway 9, a
gate opens onto the eastern pasture. This grassland gently slopes
upward to an altitude of ten thousand feet. The east pasture borders
Pike National Forest and Thirtynine Mile Mountain. The ranch road
goes past the east-pasture ponds up to the beginnings of Currant
Creek and to the Pike National Forest.
Grassy meadows with ponds and a sub-irrigated field (pictured
left) allow support of around 40 pairs of cows year round or
70 to 80 seasonally during the summer and fall. The property
is excellent for horses as well. All 7 miles of perimeter fencing
are good with miles more of good cross fencing. Cattle have
been run on this ranch for years. Two unpaved ranch roads allow
easy access throughout the pastures and to all the ponds. The
ranch has 7 miles of good boundary fencing and many more miles
of good cross fencing.
