  Location/Accessibility

Centrally located with Interstate and State Highway access
Year-round accessibility

The entrance gate off Highway 9 opens to the west side of the ranch. The picture to the far left above the logo, taken in late winter, shows the south-facing slopes that allow rapid snowmelt. This ranch has easy year-round access off the well-maintained, yet lightly trafficked, State Highway 9. The Pike National Forest appears in the background. It borders the National Forest on the north, east, south and west.

The eight-inch, late winter snow (pictured above left) melted off all south-facing slopes within a day. Even in the snow the ranch is easily negotiable with four-wheel drive. Without snow, two-wheel drive is adequate.

Colorado Springs is located directly to the east. A beautiful forty-minute drive from the gate is the spectacular Royal Gorge. You can easily get to this ranch year-round from east, west, north or south.
